Job Summary

The Accounting Associate, Accounts Receivable, Order to Cash within the SPX ESSC will be responsible the timely posting of bank account transactions received into SAP. Responsibilities:

Preparation of all statutory books in compliance with local statutory requirements for the above entities
Check that all entries are in line with the Local GAAP and maintain the local chart of accounts

Responsible for the EAM G&A Budgets and Forecasts
Responsible for Payroll - Ensure that all payroll requirements are fulfilled, including taxation, annual certification, payments, and journal posting.
Ensuring the integrity of internal financial controls
Co-ordinates with the accounts payable, accounts receivable and business units
Participation in an EAM wide compliance project
Assist in information gathering for both fiscal & vat compliance for the EAM region including review of current T&E system, GL account usage and vat codes.
Review of all expenses in relation to conferences & congresses
Participate in Internal Audit review of the application of rules and guidelines and participate in identifying key solutions & changes required.
Ensuring information collation & outcomes are clearly structured.
Cross-functional reviews & retraining where required
Participation in the implementation of rolling out a standard statutory accounts template and procedures for EAM
Liaison with local management
Market Representative for the region.
Liaison with local management and review market issues arising which may have an impact on the financials.
Conduct regular meetings in country with local management.
Present financial information and accounts to local management with supporting information and analysis to enable them to approve and sign the financials.
Maintain and review the Service Level Agreement with the local market.
Participate at the Executive Committee Meetings.
Requirements:

Qualified Accountant
Minimum of 3 years� experience working within a medium sized international company in the same position
Strong knowledge of accounting, payroll and fiscal systems
Experienced in preparation of Statutory Financial Statements and income tax returns
Knowledge of US GAAP
Fluency in English and either Dutch, French,German or Danish.
Work with internal and international team
