Technical Support Helpdesk Analyst required immediately with a multinational organisation based in Cork city
Reporting to the Helpdesk Manager the successful candidate will work as a member of a team providing first line support for all external customers
Role / Opportunity:
Log and process support queries and distribute them among the team
Act as first point of contact for the team through phone, email and web requests.
Effectively interact with other members of the team to provide solutions to customer service and minor technical issues
Study trends in incoming cases in search of hot issues and report these issues to management
Maintain and monitor contact information within the database
Help and redirect end-user customers who seek support
Bring any unusual customer problems or incidents to the attention of management
Skills/Experience:
Fluency in English, Spanish and Italian
Previous experience in a strongly customer focused role
At least 12 months professional experience in an IT environment
Effective communicator with positive and friendly personality
Ability to act on own initiative and take responsibility as required
A team player comfortable in a busy, fast-moving office environment
Motivated person with a desire to develop their career in a growing company
Strong PC skills including Windows OS, Word, Excel and Outlook
