The Role
Symantec EMEAs Talent Acquisition team provides best in class recruitment consultancy to Symantec EMEA business functions. Partnering hiring managers and senior members of the business, we act as the first point of contact for all hiring matters and provide a dedicated service to enable high quality, targeted hiring.

The Global Talent Acquisition Team is responsible for reviewing headcount projections and developing and executing robust, cost effective resourcing strategies, working in partnership with a defined group of internal clients.
An integral part of the Global Talent Acquisition Team, the EMEA TA team supports the staffing needs of the business across all disciplines in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. As a team we work in partnership with HR Services and Compensation and Benefits to ensure that we provide a best in class service to the business.
An opportunity has arisen for Staffing Operations Specialist to join the EMEA team; an integral member of the EMEA talent Acquisition team the role will include the following:
Main responsibilities:
Management of international and intra regional transfers
Management of the Employee Referral Scheme for EMEA
Production of monthly and ad hoc recruitment metrics
Management of vendor invoices and agency spend
Management of the contingent worker process and vendor management
Management of the EMEA Preferred Supplier agency list
Job board management
Interview arrangements as required
Recruitment responsibility for identified roles
Personal profile:
The successful candidate will:
- Be highly motivated and adaptable with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Possess highly developed organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast moving environment
- Enjoy working as part of a close knit team
- Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to deal with individuals at all levels, and in all regions both within the organisation and with external contacts
- Be self-confident and have the ability to think on your feet maintaining professionalism while under pressure
- Be able to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Have the ability to learn quickly
Essential requirements:
- University degree 2.1 or above
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Very proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Powerpoint
- Fluency in a second European language German / French preferred is essential both written and oral
Desirable requirements:
- Some background in recruitment or HR
- Experience of Peoplesoft system
