CPL in partnership with a leading multinational company are now recruiting a French Payroll Specialist. This is a permanent position. Candidate must have experience processing French/German payroll.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide management reporting of payroll related transactions, such as vacation, stock, headcount reports.
- Work with finance to prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Responsible for clear and concise analytical review write-ups.
- Ensuring payments are returned to the local tax authorities
- Liaison with payroll system vendor suppliers to co-ordinate upgrades to payroll system as is required
- Work closely with HR and IT department to ensure smooth running of IT interfaces (EAS, PeopleSoft)
- Liase with local HR / HR SSC to ensure Payroll have all necessary information in areas such as new hires, terminations, maternity leave and parental leave
- Finance interface for benefits such as health insurance, pension, etc
- Keeping up to date with the most recent payroll related legislation
- Various ad-hoc reporting as requested
- Dealing with general employee queries
Position Qualifications:
• Three years previous experience of payroll processing within a multinational.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple relationships.
• Associates degree in Accounting, or equivalent required.
• An understand of debits and credits an advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent computer skills including Excel and Outlook, with Oracle an advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills, including account reconciliation and problem solving ability.
• Ability to work efficiently and productively in a multi-task environment on a daily basis, independently or with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate sound judgment.
