The successful candidate will be based in OracleDirect in Dublin, Ireland. Oracle Direct is Oracle's EMEA operation representing 25 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In a truly multicultural environment more than 400 talented professionals from throughout Europe interact in 30 different languages with current and future Oracle customers using latest internet technologies.
The primary focus of this role is to sell Oracle Technology solutions to existing Oracle customers and prospecting for new customers in the assigned territory. This role is based in Dublin, Ireland
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to product success by building opportunity pipeline, qualifying prospects and closing business
• Proactively market Database Options solutions to prospective and existing customers.
• Work with Account Managers in the assigned territory to identify opportunities
• Develop and present Oracle value proposition to prospective customer.
• Create value for these teams by proactively proposing solutions to increase deal value, Oracle differentiation, and increase customer benefits
• The coordination and direction of demand generation activity through close engagement with Oracle Marketing
• Leverage available business development resources for clients
• Achieve licence revenue target
Qualifications:
• Proven track record in solution sales account management in a IT or Technology environment (software, hardware, services)
• Ability to build relationships within large accounts as a foundation for sales success
• Knowledge and understanding of the database market place is desirable but not necessary
• University degree qualified OR relevant business or technology qualification
• Ability to understand and analyse the market
• Proactive, creative and innovative thinker
