Overview:
The successful candidate will work within the Transportation & Logistics Department and manage Intra EMEA Retail fulfillment. This position requires a strong knowledge of transportation and logistics supply chain solutions specifically with Intra EMEA operations preferably within a retail environment.
Job Requirements:
Manage Inta EMEA retail fullfillment
Within the EMEA Logistics department influence and drive key carrier improvements
Develop and help influence future changes to our clients retail supply chain
Understand the retail requirements of selling our clients product and align the logistics solutions accordingly
Be able to establish excellent internal customer relationships
Work actively with suppliers on cost reduction programs.
Maintain and monitor Retail logistics KPIs to agreed service levels.
Review root cause analysis as retail issues occur with relevant carrier.
Provide monthly Retail logistics management reporting.
Set up and manage weekly issues calls and monthly operational reviews with Retail stakeholders.
Daily review of handover issues from all International product sources.
Execute TRAX exception report on a weekly basis.
Approve all manual invoices as necessary.
First point of escalation for all Retail logistics related issues.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Excellent communicator with all stakeholder groups.
Problem solving techniques required / Six Sigma preferred.
Customer focused
Strong knowledge of road transportation and logistics concepts.
Able to engage management of all levels with both our clients internal and also external suppliers
Ability to work well under pressure, multitask.
Self starter that can work on their own initiative.
Desire to stay informed of key retail supply chain trends
Works well within a team and understands team dynamics.
Ability to influence others within the organisation
Flexibility - must be able to work as required to fulfill business needs.
Ability to balance competing priorities
Qualifications & Experience Required
Educated to degree level or equivalent
International CPC preferred but not essential
At least 5-years in an FMCG Logistics environment. Technological preferred
Previous experience of supplier/carrier management essential.
Good understanding of all Microsoft Office packages.
