The Oracle Business Development Group is Oracle's demand generation team, working closely with partners and internal sales and marketing teams. This exciting opportunity is focused on managing a team of Internal Business Development Consultants who generate demand across Oracle's range of Software and Hardware Solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Foster relationships with key stakeholders (In-country Sales Reps, Sales Managers, Territory Managers, Marketing Managers, Country Managers) to positively influence the attainment of goals, vision and strategy.
* Negotiate engagement agreements to ensure all parties achieve their targets
* Set individual targets for team members and conduct performance appraisals and manage all related performance issues
* Drive achievement of overall team target
* Own the headcount budget process for region, planning and organising resources to maximise lead qualification
* Report regularly to country owners regarding the performance of the Business Development Consultants in lead qualification, furnishing them with statistics of leads quality, plus information on realised and forecast revenue
* Act as an ambassador for the BDC’s, generating business and keeping up to date on market conditions and potential lead opportunities
* Drive the use of e-business tools.
* Maintain visibility across various country markets
* Implement programmatic marketing plans, ensuring resources are allocated to achieve business objectives
* Respond to outside stimuli i.e.new marketing campaigns need to be implemented quickly and data feedback to marketing on its success
* Strategically position the BDC’s as an invaluable lead qualification centre, assisting Territory Managers achieve revenue targets
* Manage the quality of the lead process ensuring the BDCs meet their engagement
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Strong team builder and motivator
* Creative and innovate
* Strong knowledge of industry and ideally a specialist knowledge of Oracle Technology Stack or Applications or Hardware
* A working understanding of telebusiness operations with an ability to understand and analyse the industry and the market
* Budgeting & Forecasting, Business planning experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and persuasive skills essential
* 5-7 years experience in Sales, Telemarketing or Customer Service preferably in the IT Industry.
