A global market leader with International offices in Cork seeks to appoint an experienced EMEA AP Supervisor with fluent German to work within their International Shared Services Centre.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years EMEA AP supervisory experience, strong people management experience and speak Fluent German.
In the absence of German, fluent French, Italian, Spanish or Dutch will be considered
Reporting to the EMEA Accounts Payable Controller the following are the principle duties
• Supervising 16 Countries in EMEA and a Staff of 19 people, in a multi- lingual environment, with a high volume of activity.
• Supplier Requisition to Cheque Transaction Processing, involving Multi-Currency Invoice Processing
• Matching to PO/SSP Receipts and Payments, using a high-volume ERP system, and resolving discrepancy and approval issues.
• Supplier Statement Reconciliation and Adherence to Internal Control Process.
• Interaction with Suppliers, Purchasing, Banking and Corporate Personnel.
• Liaison on a day to day basis with the Operational Business, Purchasing/Receiving, Functional/FP&A, Treasury and Internal/External Auditor Personnel.
• Req-to-Chq Process System Enhancements and 6-Sigma / CI Process Improvements
• Improving the AP, T&E and Treasury processes, to be best of breed.
Requirements
• Fluent German essential or fluent French, Italian, Spanish or Dutch will be considered
• Financial/Analytical experience
• 1-3 years experience in a supervisory role within a progressive and challenging shared service environment is essential and this challenging role will entail all the areas of responsibility listed above.
• Knowledge of ERP financial and reporting systems
• Strong system skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Sense of Urgency / Accountability / Attention to detail
• Experience in an analyitical role and undertaking a Professional Qualification would be an advantage but not essential .
