Our client, specialised in selling holidays packages is currently recruiting a Finnish Travel Agent to join their expanding centre in Cork, Ireland.
Role purpose:
The role of the Travel Agent is to sell a variety of travel products by handling inbound and outbound travel calls from Finnish and English speaking Members.
Responsibilities:
• To ensure all travel sales and service calls are courteously and efficiently handled within the departmental standards
• To sell travel itineraries/products to members including as many preferred company products as possible.
• To ensure all necessary bookings and documentation are completed accurately.
• To provide specialist advice to members on all products and services.
• To ensure all regulations relating to the travel industry are adhered to.
• To ensure all members have all necessary information regarding travel requirements (e.g., visas, passports, etc).
Requirements:
• Fluency in Finnish with high proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 6 months previous Travel Agency experience
• Minimum of 6 months previous experience in a sales role
• Candidate must have experience in International travel
Booking Flights" experience is ESSENTIAL
Compensation and benefits:
• Salary of 24K-29K (pending on experience) + commission + €1,270 for additional language (exclusive of English and Finnish).
• Relocation package: Flight(s) to Cork, 12 nights accommodation in a local Hotel, Per Diem of €13 for the first 30 days (paid out in a lump sum payment of €390 usually at the end of the 2nd week here once a bank account has been opened).
