Our client, based in Cork, is currently recruiting for a Finnish and Swedish Travel Agents.
Role purpose:
The role of the Travel Agent is to sell a variety of travel products by handling inbound and outbound travel calls from Finnish and Swedish Members. Energetic communication and exceptional sales skills are key to this role which deals with selling travel products i.e. cruise & tour vacations, flights, hotels, car rentals and insurance.
Responsibilities:
• To ensure all travel sales and service calls are courteously and efficiently handled within the departmental standards
• To sell travel itineraries/products to members including as many preferred company products as possible.
• To ensure all necessary bookings and documentation are completed accurately.
• To provide specialist advice to members on all products and services.
• To ensure all regulations relating to the travel industry are adhered to.
• To ensure all members have all necessary information regarding travel requirements (e,g, visas, passports, etc).
Requirements:
• Fluency in Finnish or Swedish with high proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 6 months previous Travel Agency experience
• Minimum of 6 months previous experience in a sales role
• Candidate must have experience in International travel
"Booking Flights" experience is ESSENTIAL
