Our client is seeking a junior to intermediate Automation Engineer for a permanent role in the Greater Dublin Area. The engineer will be assisting the Engineering team, reporting with the Automation Engineering Manager, on various projects in the high technology and industrial sectors.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Ensuring the timely and cost effective design and development of instrument/automation services.
• Recommending automation solutions to the client
• Monitoring subcontractors work on site
• Produce risk assessments and health and safety documentation
• Tendering and preparing estimates for the provision of new automation services.
To be considered for this role you must possess the following
• A min of 2 -3 years experience as a automation engineer
• A degree in instrumentation or automation
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience in ISO 9001
• Be familiar with software such as SCADA, DCS, CAD, BMS, HMI
• Have experience in managing subcontractors activities on site
• Have excellent communication skills
• Good proficiency in financial skills, data analysis and reporting skills
