BioWare is searching for a French Community Coordinator (Social Media Representative) to support the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day operational activities surrounding the reporting and administering of the Star Wars: The Old Republic social media channels in Europe. In-depth knowledge of the massively multiplayer online gaming community and experience in dealing with online communities are key success factors for this position.

Original BioWare-created IPs include: Jade Empire, DragonAge : Origins, the critically acclaimed Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood for the Nintendo DS. BioWare is currently developing Star Wars: The Old Republic, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game being developed at BioWare’s studios in Austin, Texas. Recently announced, BioWare’s customer support for the upcoming game will be centralized in Galway, Ireland.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Promote a user-friendly environment on official social media channels including Facebook and Twitter.
• Maintain a neutral, unbiased presence on official social media channels while addressing user issues.
• Monitor and report on issues being reported through social media.
• Document all customer interactions and issues.
• Assist other members of the community team with community-related tasks.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Prior experience in the administration and/or moderation of an online message board.
• Must be a Fluent French speaker with exceptional written communication skills and an excellent understanding of public communication.
• Strong customer service ethic.
• Must have the ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated initiative and positive spirit in a rapidly changing environment.
• Scheduling flexibility including weekend and, night time and holiday hours
Compensation:
BioWare Ireland offer a highly competitive base salary and benefits package including but not exclusive to; bonus, shares, pension, life assurance, long term disability, out of country relocation and games.
