BioWare is currently searching for a French Community Coordinator (Contract) to support the upcoming MMO Star Wars™: The Old Republic™. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day operational activities surrounding the reporting and administering of the French Star Wars: The Old Republic online community.
While working in a cross functional team the Community Coordinator develops compelling yet subtle messaging strategies and community initiatives. The content, tone and uniformity of this messaging are instrumental in keeping the end user customer engaged. In-depth knowledge of the massively multiplayer online gaming community and experience in dealing with online communities are key success factors for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist with a vibrant pre and post-ship website that features franchise content, community-generated content, forum discussions, downloads, and other interactions.
• Promote a user-friendly environment on community message boards.
• Enforcement of the official website Rules and Guidelines.
• Maintain a neutral, unbiased presence on the official website while addressing user issues.
• Document all customer interactions and issues.
• Create and edit content for the product in the form of promotional, instructional, and background information assets, as required.
• Helps conduct private and public tests to gather community feedback that will help improve final product quality.
• Assist with drafting community reports including community reaction, metrics, and research.
• Assists other members of the community team with community-related tasks.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Must be a French speaker with exceptional written communication skills and an excellent understanding of public communication
• One or more years massively multiplayer community experience or social networking community experience required
• Prior experience in the administration and/or moderation of an online message board
• Knowledge of Internet message-board browsing, use, and etiquette
• Technical knowledge of online community platforms, systems and software
• Strong understanding of popular social networking trends
• Strong customer service ethic and demonstrated initiative and positive spirit
• Scheduling flexibility including weekend and holiday hours
