Our client, a large online company is seeking an experienced Account Manager for immediate start.
The role will involve managing a portfolio of clients to retain and grow existing accounts.
The position does not involve outbound sales or cold calling.
Duties include:
- Working within the Operations team, you will be the primary contact for a portfolio of up to 150 small business clients in Europe
- Proactively manage this portfolio of accounts to grow and maintain the business.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all operational aspects of the relationship during the contract life, identifying opportunities for proactive discussions with the client regarding his business, growth strategies and recommendations as to how you may assist in meeting overall profitability objectives.
- Provide product information and communication on critical operational issues including risk management, fraud issues, negative account actions including limitations, placement of reserves and withdrawal limits.
- Analyze and understand the client and their business, including future direction business direction. Incumbent is responsible for cross selling product and services to meet or exceed share of wallet goals for the portfolio as assigned by the Segment Manager.
- Perform proactive management and interaction with all accounts within the assigned portfolio.
- Outbound calling to customers on general needs assessment, feature education and product cross selling.
- Position has responsibility for the contractual health and well-being of assigned relationships within the portfolio, including contract renewals for accounts and retention of the account base.
- Establish effective working relationships with other managers and product leads within the organization to ensure excellent information flow and feedback.
- Document all communication with accounts accurately and in a timely manner via system tools.
- Prepare monthly business summaries on assigned clients in support of segment reporting requirements.
Requirements for this role
- Fluent German and English is required
- A minimum of two years previous Account Management or client relationship management experience.
- Strong business acumen and commercial savvy
- Strong communications skills.
- Team Player
- Proactive individual who is capable of working on initiative.
- Based in Dublin or willing to relocate to Dublin
Salary for this role is between €35000 - €43000 depending on experience.
No commission paid but there is a small bonus.
