This position is based in our EU Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.

The role: Sourcing Supplier Manager
Each day, Google regularly interacts with its numerous suppliers across multiple touch points. The Supplier Management team not only manages our large vendor relationships, but also works internally to help individual Googlers best manage their third party supplier relationships. You're a strategic partner who will share best practices and grow Google's supplier managers into professional representatives of Google as they make their purchases. You'll develop creative training programs to help Googlers learn to have the right metrics and data behind the purchasing decisions that they make, as well as pick up the soft skills needed to maintain positive and healthy relationships with our suppliers.
Responsibilities:
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders globallly, to understand their current and future requirements and promote the benefits of competitive bidding.
* Collaborate with cross functional teams to conduct multi-step ?Request For Proposal? sourcing processes to ensure Google selects the right supplier and generates the most value while creating robust documentation.
* Promote and execute eAuctions as the preferred methodology for determining market pricing.
* Provide supply market analysis, benchmarking and information on market trends and emerging technologies, to help stakeholders manager their business.
* Collaborate with other Supplier Sourcing Team members across the world to ensure we learn from each others experiences and provide a consistent service to stakeholders globally.
Minimum Qualifications:
* BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Masters degree.
* Experience in Supplier Sourcing and eAuctions.
* Quick learner with interest in understanding and applying global supplier best practices.
* Strong influencing skills and change management experience with the ability to successfully manage complexity and multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
