The role: Business Acquisition Manager, Online Sales (Portuguese Market)
As a Business Acquisition Manager, you provide the highest level of sales to our advertisers within a specific industry such as Retail, Technology, Finance, Travel, Local, Entertainment and Media. You?ll sell Google?s AdWords, the leading text-based advertising platform in Europe as well as Google Display solutions to prospective medium-to-large size companies. You will work closely with a dedicated account management team who execute a well thought-out campaign that provides advertisers with measurable return on investment. You will identify potential large advertisers, pitch to them over the phone and meet with them face to face to promote our products.
You will potentially have the opportunity to participate in the Online Media Associate Program (OMAP), which is for recent and experienced graduates. This 2.5 year career development program provides an insight into online business, advertising and new technologies. The program offers an introduction to managing business operations with some of the most innovative products on the market. It is designed to help Googlers develop the professional and job-specific skills needed for their initial and future roles. Online Media Associates will be part of a lively, accommodating and collegial team environment.
Responsibilities:
* Prospect for new clients and react to inbound customer requests.
* Secure new AdWords clients by presenting search marketing solutions, and create relevant ad campaigns that maximise their ROI.
* Work within a team that supports a particular sector and educate customers on the opportunities within them.
* Develop sales pitch strategies that optimise the market potential.
* Provide the ultimate in client service by giving potential new customers the attention they need and deserve.
Minimum Qualifications:
* BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.
* Relevant online or offline business acquisition/ new sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong communication skills and the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions over the telephone to high-end prospects.
* Extremely proactive, organised, responsible, and proven ability to work well with a team.
* Fluency in English and Portuguese.
