Job Summary
This company is a well known, established, multinational organisation in the FMCG sector with offices based in North Dublin. Reporting to the Finance Manager of the Normanics region (German/Nordic), a contract opportunity has become available for a Financial Accountant to support the central provision of finance support to the local Normanics Finance team. You will assist with the team to provide reporting, planning and analytical support as well performing some period close activities.You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work to tight deadlines and may be required to do some international travel as appropriate.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will be tasked with developing and maintaining strong lines of communication and relationships with the Normanics team through regular calls and market visits. This will include working closely with the Support Manager to design and execute new processes as appropriate. You will use the existing SAP systems and Hyperion reporting tools to ensure all deadlines are accurately met in a timely manner. In addition, you will be able to provide timely and insightful variance reporting and analysis to the local team.
Requirements
You will be a qualified accountant with previous experience of working within the accounting function of a multi-national organisation. Experience of Hyperion Planning and SAP is essential and it would be advantageous to have German and/or Nordic language skills. Additional skills will include previous exposure to working in multiple countries with various cultures.Strong business partnering skills and a can-do attitude will be important for this position as will a good understanding of the financial planning process.
