Berkley Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences is currently recruiting for Nurse or Pharmacist for a new call centre based in Leinster or Internationally.

This is an expanding company and the role will sit in a new European hub for Medical Communications working with a top Pharmaceutical organisation.

We are looking for Nurses, Pharmacists or Life Science professionals who can speak one or more of the following languages: Dutch, Danish, Italian, Portuguese, Norwegian, or French

Role/Opportunity:

- Respond accurately and professionally to technical and medical information inquiries received via phone, email, internet or mail in reference to pharmaceutical or device products.
- Analyze caller’s questions to formulate an accurate and concise response using client-approved technical resources.
- These inquiries may come from consumers and health care professionals.
- These responses may include advising of possible side effects, medical device consultations, speaking from the prescribing information, or answering commonly asked technical or medical inquiries.
- Delivering approved disease state information.
- Identification and recording of adverse events and product complaints utilizing approved forms and/or databases may be required.
- Documenting call information according to protocol.
- Maintain knowledge of project and corporate policies and procedures including client products, SOPs, protocols, GCPs, and FDA/ICH regulations.
- Train and coach Medical Information Associates and Customer Assistant Specialists (CAS).
- Work closely with internal and external client contacts (up to and including members of client management) to resolve complex customer and HCP issues.

Skills/Experience

- Bachelors degree in a science/health-related field
- Multi-lingual – proficient in English and at least one of the languages listed above;
- Some relevant medical experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry with responsibilities involving counselling or providing medical information OR
- Some Customer Assistant Specialist (CAS) or Senior CAS experience, or
- Equivalent combination of education, training or experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
